The Underserved Powerhouse
While most tuners focus exclusively on Yamaha and Mercury, we recognized the incredible potential of the Tohatsu MFS platform. These engines feature brilliant engineering, including the 4-2-1 performance tuned exhaust on the larger models, which naturally scavenges exhaust gases for better torque.
However, just like the big brands, Tohatsu uses software to restrict their engines. The MFS75, MFS90, and MFS115 all share the exact same 1995cc block. If you own the 75hp or 90hp version, you are carrying the weight of a 115hp engine without getting the performance. Our ECU remap safely unlocks this restricted power, transforming your boat's capabilities.
Lightweight Tinnie Tuning
Tohatsu is massively popular in the small-to-medium tinnie market. For these smaller boats, weight is everything. The MFS20 and MFS30 are fantastic, lightweight engines, but when you load the boat with fishing gear, batteries, and a mate, they can struggle.
Our tuning for the smaller MFS series focuses on maximizing low-end torque. By optimizing the fuel and ignition maps, we give these small engines the grunt they need to pop a loaded tinnie onto the plane effortlessly, without having to upgrade to a heavier, more expensive outboard.
